Personal Data Protection Procedure The aim of this statement

This page is aimed at describing the website’s administrative procedure concerning the processing of its users’ personal data. This statement is produced pursuant to Section 13 of Italian Legislative Decree no. 196/2003 for users of our web services, accessible by the internet. This statement only concerns our website and not other websites that users may consult through the use of links. This statement is prompted by Recommendation no. 2/2001 implemented on the 17th of May 2001 by European authorities for personal data protection, brought together in the Working Party established by Section 29 of Directive no. 95/46/EC. Their aim was that of identifying minimum requirements for the collection of personal data online and, more specifically deliberate on procedures, time and nature of the information that data controllers must supply users with, when the latter connect to web pages, regardless of the purpose of connection.

    Data concerning identified or identifiable subjects can be processed following consultation of this website. The data controller is: SAN LEO 2000 SERVIZI TURISTICI S.r.l., with registered offices in Piazza Dante Alighieri 14, San Leo (RN), Italy.

    The processing operations linked to the site’s web services take place in our offices and are carried out only by our technical department, or by persons in charge of occasional maintenance operations. No data deriving from web services shall be communicated or disseminated (without prior consent of the user). The personal data supplied by users who request dispatch of information material (newsletters, promotions, information, initiatives, communications, acts and regulations, etc.) are used with the sole purpose of supplying or performing the service requested and are not communicated to third parties (with the exception of those cases when specific consent has been provided) nor disseminated in any way.

    1. Navigation data
      This website’s computer systems and software procedures acquire, during their normal operation, personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. This information is not collected in order to be associated to identified data subjects, but due to its nature it can, by means of processing and integration with data held by third parties, lead to users’ identification. This category includes the IP addresses or domain names of computers used to connect to the website, URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) form addresses of the resources requested, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in reply, the numerical code indicating the status of the reply given by the server (done, error, etc.) and other parameters on the user’s operating system and computer environment. These data are used with the sole purpose of obtaining anonymous statistical information on the use of the site and to check its correct operation. They are deleted right after the processing. These data can be used to ascertain responsibility in the case of computer crimes against this website.
    2. Data supplied voluntarily by the user
      The optional, explicit and voluntary dispatching of electronic mail to the addresses displayed in this website entails subsequent acquisition of the sender’s address, which is necessary to reply to the requests, and of any other personal data contained in the message. Special information concerning personal data shall be mentioned or showed in web pages offering specific services on request (for example, links to the this privacy statement).

    No personal data concerning users is purposely acquired by this website. Cookies are not used to transmit information of a personal nature, nor are user-tracing cookies and identification systems used. The use of the so-called session cookies (which are not stored permanently on the users’ computer and disappear when closing the browser) is strictly limited to the transmission of session identifiers (formed by random numbers generated by the server), which are necessary for safe and efficient website navigation. The so-called session cookies in this website do not use other IT techniques that could disclose the confidentiality of users’ navigation and do not allow us to acquire users’ personal data.

    With the exception of what has been specified for navigation data above, users are free to provide the personal data required in the request form, to ask for the dispatching of informative material or other communications. Failing to submit personal data may make it impossible to process the request. Personal data is submitted only after explicit consent of the user.

    Personal data is processed automatically for the time necessary to achieve the purposes for which data were collected. Specific security measures are observed in order to prevent data loss, unlawful or incorrect use of information and unauthorised access.

    The subjects to whom personal data refer have the right, at any time, to obtain confirmation as to whether such data exists and to be informed on its content and source. They also have the right to check its accuracy or request its integration, update or amendment (Section 7 of Italian Legislative Decree no. 196/2003.). Pursuant to the same section, the data subject has the right to have unlawfully processed data cancelled, made anonymous or blocked and to object, in any case, to data processing, on legitimate grounds. Every request must be sent to the above-mentioned Data Controller.
