The spring of Saint Leo

Dating quite likely back to the Roman times, the first documents about the spring go back to the 17th century, when a channel was built to provide water to the mill in the northern area of town. The mill was unfortunately destroyed

Inside the spring’s stone structure is a niche featuring a statue of Saint Leo made in copper foil.
The spring is easily accessible by taking a walk along the road running around the perimeter of the rocky peak, called in Italian "Giro di San Leone", Saint Leo’s road.
